EXPERIENCE

December 2003

North Carolina Blumenthal Performing Arts Center, Systems and Network Administrator responsible for maintaining all servers, applications, licensing, desktop deployment, Cisco network devices and availability. Maintained a site to site WAN utilizing Proxim Tsunami Multipoint devices. Maintained all backup and restore operations as well as a Disaster Recovery site. Maintained all technical and training documentation. Provided training as needed. Supported two other technicians and database programmer with web site access, design, database security and availability. Supported end users both on-site and remotely. Setup and assisted other venues with VPN access to the Paciolan ticketing database. Researched and recommended new technologies as required. Participated in on-call rotation.

February 2003

IBM Global Services assigned to the Belk Store Services division as a Senior Server Systems Engineer; responsible for supporting 800+ servers across the nation utilizing IBM Director. Supported all programmers and other engineers as needed. Prepared all IBM servers for deployment to store to replace aging systems. Participated in on-call rotation.

April 2002

GE Capital IT Solutions, First Union/Wachovia implementation, Team and Implementation Lead responsible for job assignments to eight other technicians to deploy new desktops, printers and applications to First Union Banks in the North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida regions in preperation for the Wachovia take-over.

December 1997
